Initially opened in 1974 by the Hayden family, Lawrence Creek Campground is situated on 32 acres of wooded, waterside property. The campground has 32 full hookup, 20/30/50-amp RV sites as well as 3 primitive tent sites. Approximately 20 acres of the property is undeveloped and open to campers for hiking, fishing, birdwatching, river wildlife viewing and ATV riding. Also available are a small boat launch and dock space, pavilions for use and rentals, seasonal fishing passes and winter camper storage. There is a camp store where you can pick up forgotten supplies, snacks, souvenirs, cold beer, or try your luck with the Kentucky Lottery. Creekside Tavern is also on the premises. Come see why so many others exclaim “We just love it here!”

Meet the owners!

2020 provided the Abbott family the opportunity to be brave and fulfill a dream of owning a campground. John and Natalie, along with their children Weston, Sam and Erin and dogs Avery and Cooper, spent significant time camping in tents and their travel trailer and know what campers are looking for. The owner is onsite and invested in continuous improvement of the facilities and campers’ experience.
