Whether you’re visiting for the weekend, stopping on your way to another destination, or coming to stay for the season, Lawrence Creek Campground is the perfect spot. Maybe you’re working on a long-term project in the area, yes, we can usually accommodate you. Are you cruising the river? Tie your boat up to our dock and walk up to the CreekSide Tavern and visit with old friends and make new, grab a beverage or a bite to eat before you travel up the scenic Lawrence Creek or out to the amazing Ohio River again.
Lawrence Creek Campground is family oriented where the rules are simple: Respect the other campers and visitors and be a good neighbor. A safe, friendly, quiet and hospitable place to be. All sites are full hookup with 30 and 50-amp electric, fresh water and sewer.
Ooops! Did you forget something for your stay? We have a small store with beverages, snacks, ice and limited supplies on site.
Please be aware, if you are arriving from the east and traveling westbound on Route 8 – there is a very sharp right-hand turn to enter the Campground. You may need to enter the opposing lane of traffic and enter at the very end of the driveway apron in order to successfully navigate the turn. This is not an issue if you are arriving from the west and traveling eastbound on Route 8 when arriving.
Beyond the beautiful views and calm, relaxing atmosphere, experience all Lawrence Creek Campground has to offer. Waterfront sites, quiet neighbors, walking and riding trails along the creek to the Ohio River. Some of Kentucky’s best fishing is on Lawrence Creek – bass, bluegill, crappie, catfish and more.
Right on the waterfront of Lawrence Creek, the campground not only offers direct access to the creek but is a short jaunt to the Ohio River. Campsites right on the water, a boat dock, small launch area for Jon boats, canoes and kayaks, shore fishing and boat fishing in one of the finest fishing spots in Kentucky.
